End of Year Stress
Nearing the end of the year means STRESS for many of us. There is usually so much to do before the end of the year and before the holidays. Whether you are a Business owner, a student, an office worker, work in retail, or in any other employment, – or a stay at home Mum, the pressure is on.
- Do you feel overwhelmed by what is expected of you?
- Are you under pressure to reach a certain target by a certain date?
- Are you dreading the holidays because you will be forced to mix with family who you don’t like or feel that they don’t accept you?
- Are you afraid of a repeat performance of something undesirable that happened last year or even years ago?
- Do you feel that you haven’t accomplished your goals and that you are a failure?
The list could go on and on.
Whatever your ‘End of the Year Stress’ is – the process that I am going to walk you through today will help you release some of the stress and overwhelm that you are experiencing, enabling you to relax and allow the holidays to recharge you, so that you can be calm and focused and ready for the new challenges in 2016.
We will be using the Emotional Freedom Technique, also referred to as EFT or simply ‘Tapping’, because it involves tapping on acupressure points on the hands, face, head and upper body.
